🌱 Condurú Farm Origin of Cafézoca
Hidden among the mountains of Afonso Cláudio, in Espírito Santo, Sítio Condurú is much more than a rural property — it's a life project, a dream cultivated with hands and heart.
Acquired in 2016 by Pedro Zoca, who sought a reconnection with nature and a new lifestyle, the property bears the name of his great-great-grandfather, known as "Condurú," in homage to the family's roots and history. It was here that Cafézoca was born, a specialty coffee brand produced in an artisanal and sustainable way, with passion and respect for the earth's rhythms.
With an area of 7.5 hectares, the farm produces an average of 25 sacks of coffee per year, at an altitude of over 1000 meters, which guarantees complexity and sweetness to the beverage. The coffee is 100% Arabica and grown organically, without pesticides, with manual harvesting and careful selection of the beans.
The main building on the property is a unique geodesic dome, with three bedrooms, suspended above the coffee plantation, where Pedro lives with his wife and son. Its construction was a challenge that became a symbol: overcoming difficulties of access and labor, the geodesic dome now represents the innovative and determined spirit of the Condurú Estate.
In addition to coffee, the farm also experiments with fruit growing and agroforestry, with an area planted with sugarcane — which has already yielded sugarcane juice and unrefined brown sugar in partnership with local residents.
The roasting facility, installed on the property itself, allows for complete control of the production chain: from the field to the cup. In addition to roasting his own coffee, Pedro also roasts coffee from his neighbors, valuing local production and strengthening the economy of Serra Pelada.
Today, Sítio Condurú is a symbol of a lifestyle more connected to the land, where every detail matters. Each package of Cafézoca carries this spirit — an invitation to savor a story, a landscape, and a purpose.
